Shandong LuKang Chenxin Pharmaceutical Ltd. (Abbreviated as Chenxin) is located in Jining City, Shandong Province, the home town of Confucius and Mencius. It was founded in 1970, the predecessor is Hongxing Pharmaceutical Ltd. Chenxin has been honored ”°Shandong Star-Enterprise of Patent”± and ”°national hi-tech enterprise”± with a post***toral research workstations, a provincial enterprise technology center and an engineering research center for antibiotic. We have more than 2000 employees, 700 among them are professionals and technicians.
Its key products include non-PVC soft bag infusions, plastic bottle infusions, lyophilized powder injections, tablets, ointments, eye drops, capsules and API etc, 8 series and nearly 400 varieties and infusion solution is the dominant products. At present, the annual infusion solution production capacity has reached 600 million bottles (bags), ranking the first place in China. Annual yield capacity of injection has reached 2 billion, ranking the first place in Shandong. The production capacity is 5 billion for tablets, 120 million for capsules, 60 million for ointments and 40 million for eye drops. At present, the products of Chenxin are sold to more than 30 domestic provinces and cities. In 2010, Chenxin realized RMB 1.5 billion of sales revenue and RMB 380 million of profits and tax.
On regard of R&D, Chenxin has successively developed over 100 new medicines, which include 1 new drug of National Class 1£¬8 new drug of National Class 2 and 36 new drug of National Class 4. It also got more than 60 new drug certificates and over 90 production approvals. Adefovir Dipivoxil (and tablets) developed independently by Chenxin got the certificate of new drug as National Class 1.
